    I apologize for writing in English since I do not have excess to Greek. I find the revised or new law towards the civilized and humane treatment to animals quite promising. I do not, however, understand how or who will enforce the law... for instance, we know that smoking is not allowed in closed public places. Recently when I called 1142 to report a violation, I was told to call the police, the police told me to call the Port Authority and the Port Authority told me to call Ygionomiko. The next day when I called Ygionomiko they told me to call 1142. So here is a very straight forward law that can not be enforced, so you can only imagine how a far more complex law will be enforced to be effective... I do not have much faith in the "system" and can only hope for the best for the sake of all the lovely animals and the friends of the animals.
