    The environmental impacts of marine fish farming are well understood. Scientifically, the answer to whether or not there should be fish farming within the closed, unique, and fragile ecosystem of the limno-thalassa is clear... there should NOT be fish farms in the bay of Argostoli. For once, Kefalonites at home and abroad would be proud to see the government take action against short-term business interests and in favor of long-term collective Kefalonian interests (συλλογικο συμφερον) that are supported by logic, science and long-term sustainability (περιβαλλοντικη και τουριστικη βιωσιμοτητα).
