11.1 (b) Virtual sports are not set up in the way that this paragraph is describing. There is no point allowing Virtual sports that are not able to operate according to the description of this article when at the same time OPAP is offering Virtual games at their shops to 18+ customers and without having any monopolistic right to do so. This is a serious discrimination against online operators. 11.1 (d) – “other events” Special events that are no pre-recorded should be allowed without any restriction of advance approval by HGC. We strongly advice licensees to be able to offer Special bets that have pre-set rules like in the UK. 11.2(a) - Both RGA members practice and international standards prohibit betting on youth events for Under 18 and certainly not Under 19. This provision shall be amended to prohibit betting Under 18 championships/competitions, most especially in cases where OPAP would be able to offer betting on Under 19 events in shops, which would be discriminatory against online operators. 11.2(c) – This provision would enable sports bodies to veto the ability of licensed operators to take bets on their sports. This could potentially raise competition law issues and have a detrimental impact on the attractiveness of the licensing regime by dramatically limiting the regulated offer.
