This makes no sense. 1. Most movie scores are composed for that specific film. 2. Most movie scores do not feature lyrics. 3. How do you even define what qualifies as a "Greek song"? Greek composer? Greek lyricist? 4. For orchestral scores, which the law allows if they are orchestrations of "Greek songs," a filmmaker could stay within the law by writing lyrics in Greek (but not used/sung) for whatever music chosen or composed for the film. 5. Zorba died a long time ago. Aliki too. 6. Wanting to support Greek musicians is a worthwhile goal. The logical way to write this law would be to specify that some percentage of the music budget for a state-supported film must go to a Greek composer.
